And how this release will provides the faster and easy upgrade process while the basic installation have has of issues.

Hey Jon,

I downloaded and am re-sinstalling. I can get in to Solution Explorer. Running the UTB I can see that in the F0002 and F00022 there is now data.

As part of the install, it prompted me to re-install the WLSH4A Web Client. But, once again, it hangs at 94%. At the step Executing command c:\en920_1\system\jas\wls_scripts\deleteDomain.cmd. That's with Norton anti-virus as well as the firewall disabled based on a suggestion from earlier in this thread.

Any thoughts on that one?

Hi Blkeeley,

We faced the exact same issue with Local web configuration while installing new Standalone E920, during deleteDomain.cmd installation hangs at 94%. We resolved the issue by uninstalling the Oracle Weblogic Server and reinstall Oracle weblogic Server 12.1.3 and try to run the setup.exe as "run as administrator" from the setup location (E:\Standalone\ThirdParty\webdevfeature\WLSH4A\install ) and configure the Local Web. Standalone E920 will be installed successfully.

For fresh installation please refer our article step by step that will help for installing JD Edwards Standalone E920 successfully.

If you have already Installed Old Standalone E920, no need to uninstall the complete setup.Follow below steps to install New Standalone E920 successfully.

1.uninstall the JD Edwards Standalone Client
2.Uninstall Oracle Weblogic Server 12.1.3
3.Download the Latest Standalone setup file and assemble the file as per the article
4.Install Oracle Weblogic Server 12.1.3
5.Install JD Edwards Standalone client

Hi, guys!

Any body have this error : "View attachment 18199"

And how u finish your instalation?((

Dear Kaloos,

We faced the same issue when we installed Standalone E920 on windows 8.1.

JDESY920.dbf file is not copied from Standalone Setup file to your Standalone Install location (D:\E920_1\DEMO\data)

In our case the Standalone Setup file which was downloaded was not done properly.

So we downloaded all the setup file (V100564-01-zip, V97804-01-zip, V97805-01-zip, V97806-01-zip) once again and Installed Standalone successfully.

Please refer our article on Standalone E920. This will help you for install standalone E920 successfully

It is indeed unjust that JDEE1Tips has copied the articles from www.jdesource.com and passed it off as their own, as is their multiple other posts.

Its a pity that a consulting company has to do so.

Dear Deepesh,

First of all we like clear your point of view about JDEE1Tips.

We didnt copy the article from JDESource. We only created this article for JDESource to help everyone to install JDE Standalone 9.2 then we published our artclie in JDEE1tips.

We are here to help other by using the Knowledge we gained in JDE not to copy others Knowledge.

I'm sorry to see that.

JDEE1Tips - you need to explicitly reference sources otherwise its pure plagiarism. I'm certain that your customers will never trust your content if you just copy other peoples work and then pass it off as your own. There are an EXTREMELY small number of EnterpriseOne specialists - and over the past 20 year, plagiarism has happened to a lot of my work as well. But those people that copy are only going to put themselves at risk when they don't fully understand the content. Its the MOST important thing to keep generating new knowledge within the JDE community - and those of us that publish new whitepapers or presentations are going to stop doing so if the content is copied and obviously passed off by their competitors as their own.

I don't see ANY other type of industry where original authorship of documentation becomes so blurred than the software industry - and even more so, with JDE documentation/knowledge. Its obvious to EVERYONE when it occurs, but for some reason, it keeps happening.

JDEE1Tips - either make obvious you're referring to original sources OR create your own content from scratch. Stop copying other peoples work.

Its obvious to me that JDEE1Tips are trying to move into that territory without having any ability to create whitepapers or knowledge themselves.

Dear Altquark,

We completely agree anyone should not copy other Knowledge.Just want to clear the confusion here.It was our article.

We will take this offline with JDESource. we think this thread should help others in JDE issues and query's instead of discussing about this issue.

Thanks.

9.2 Demo Install - Oracle 12 C 32bit Client won't install

Hi, I am trying to install the Oracle 12C 32 bit Client with a non admin userid. I select option 2 (Administrator (1024MB). I received the following error: [INS-30131] Initial setup required for the execution of installer validations failed.

I found the following suggestion at: http://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/52645/oracle-12c-installation-in-windows-7-error-ins-30131

1. Remove your computer from workgroups.
2. Set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System DWORD value LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy to 1
3. Set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\LanmanServer\Parameters DWORD value AutoShareWks to 1

After doing this I am still getting the same error. Wondering if anyone has a suggestion to get around this. I am stuck.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Please find the InstallActions.log file attached as .txt.

We checked the installactions.log and found the below information. However it wont be useful for troubleshoot the issue because this is not the correct log file.

Using paramFile: C:\Users\Rick\Documents\V47124-01\client32\install\oraparam.ini

Checking monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors. Actual 4294967296 Passed

The commandline for unzip:
C:\Users\Rick\Documents\V47124-01\client32\install\unzip -qqqo ..\stage\Components\oracle.jdk\1.6.0.75.0\1\DataFiles/"*.jar" -d "C:\Users\Richard9.2\AppData\Local\Temp\OraInstall2016-01-29_10-46-11PM"

Check the installactions.log under directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\Inventory\logs" and attach.

Here is a screenshot of the origin of the file I provided. I just copied the most recent installactions.log file to a text file in order to attach it but it appears this is not what you are expecting. ?? Should I delete these installactions.log files and try to run the setup.exe file again? or do you suggest something else?

Hello,

I am encountering the 'stuck at 95%' issue when installing WLSH4A Web client, although Windows firewall and antivirus are turned off.
I have tried to uninstall Weblogic server as suggested, reinstalled it and runned WLSH4A installer but still no success.
I get the following error towards the end of the log file (attached):

INFO: 02/20/16 18:41:35.810 Connecting to Node Manager ...
INFO: 02/20/16 18:41:36.937 This Exception occurred at Sat Feb 20 18:41:36 CET 2016.
INFO: 02/20/16 18:41:36.937 weblogic.nodemanager.NMConnectException: Connection refused: connect. Could not connect to NodeManager. Check that it is running at localhost/127.0.0.1:5556.

I have checked port 5556, it is used by java.exe, so I don't understand what is not working properly...
Any idea?
