SQL 7.0 SP2 NT Server

I have lost an old e-mail that someone sent to me last year on reducing the
defined size of the TEMPDB on SQL. I have an issue were the TEMPDB reports
errors on a DBCC check. I have truncated the TEMPDB, re-started the SQL
service (where the TEMPDB is supposed to be re-created) with no luck. I
actually had it with a size of 7GB with no data space in it.

Does anyone have some suggestions. Can I repair it with the
REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS option without causing damage?

Thanks,

Crawford
