Simulating price with Advanced Pricing

Hi!

I'd like to find out is this is feasible to simulate
price outside the Sales Orders entry program while
using Advanced Pricing.

I'd like to be able to analyse price with many factors
that can change the price(like many taxes fees,
carrier weight, customs fees and so on that will be
setup in ADV. Pricing). I don't think it can be done
with any tools of G42. Am I wrong???

Thanks!

Eric,
Have you tried using the Advanced Check Price and Availability (program P4074). This program will take the sold to/ship to address number specified and apply any advance pricing rules that are applicable for the customer/item. We use this extensively for custom price quoting to customers.

That's a great idea, Mark. A warning though, if any of your price
adjustments involve order detail group fields, this program will not find
the price because there's no place to enter that data in the Check Price
screen. The only way to get the price is to enter an order or a quote
order, or write a custom program to execute the sales master business
function.

Eric,

With the check price and availability program (p4074) you can simulate price
build up outside a sales order.

AW: Simulating price with Advanced Pricing

Do want to run an UBE (none available, customized programming) or an APPL,
the last is P4074.

Cheers Roland.
