we are having problems with all jobs into the jobq keep in waiting status and its processing is so slow. If someone know have had the same problem, please help.

This notes were asked to our CNC Administrator :

"Here are my notes as to what has been happening and a few log files from long or failed jobs."

Friday, Oct 22
"About 3:00PM, all batch jobs started failing (see attached log from one of them). While investigating, users unable to log in. Ended up rebooting application server"

Monday, Oct 25
"Call from Simeon at 3:30 this morning. Everyone is hanging when trying to get data from database. Had Dennis(DBA) check DB - said it looked okay. Got on myself. Tested user profiles from each Citrix box. Everything looks okay. Tested address book from each - hangs - doesn't finish displaying screen. List of OIE(Europe Users) users would come up but when double clicking on any user, starts to display screen, then hangs. Works fine on Fat client. Went into P4210 and tried to display a SO. Hangs on thin, works fine on fat.
Called Lyle (consultant). osgws135 (Citrix) CPU maxed out - rebooted. Got Marc on the line. Finally decided to reboot application server. After killing locked sessions, logged into JDE again and now working.

Issues with server yet again, late this afternoon.....jobs erroring out, just like Friday. Ended up rebooting again.

Here some log files from yesterdays failed jobs. We had 72 jobs fail in the space of about 20 minutes.

PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENTS

A few of these logs indicate that a BSFN is a Client only BSFN. Here is my OCM for that:

JDV7334 B9200017 BSFN LOCAL *PUBLIC AV P
JEU7334 B9200017 BSFN LOCAL *PUBLIC AV P
JJD7334 B9200017 BSFN LOCAL *PUBLIC AV P

WEU7334 B9200017 BSFN LOCAL *PUBLIC AV P

WPD7334 B9200017 BSFN LOCAL *PUBLIC AV P
WPY7334 B9200017 BSFN LOCAL *PUBLIC AV P

I also have a print out of a log from yesterday, but the user has deleted the job so I no longer have it electronically. Messages on that printout are:

1632/3488 Mon Oct 25 13:57:41 2004 JDEERR.C1538
COB0000120 - Business function passed incorrect error map to CallObject! (there are 18 of these, followed by)

1632/3488 Mon Oct 25 15:28:48 2004 JDB_CTL.C4692
JDB4200003 - OPEN TABLE NOT CLOSED = F4311T (there are 38 of these)

The job actually finished (in about 1hr 30 min. when it usually takes 10 min.) and the output looked correct.

Thanks

Your CNC will have to try and figure out which functions are mapped incorrectly. IF say DEV is working fine you can use the OCM form DEV and compare it to PROD.

What is your system platform.

Thanks for your response. Do you know what I have to check exactly?
