Hi Team,

We are getting below error while using create!email in CF 8.0. Can you please suggest any options to resolve it. We have added the CF server to email exchange server.(We can eliminate this)

SendMail Error - The specified file or directory does not exist

Thanks,
Sai

Is there a .tmp file that gets left in the spool folder? Open it with NotePad and see if the job is configured to get a file from a location that either the file or folder does not exist.

It is not leaving from spool folder, I am seeing below details in .tmp file

The header in your file has the wrong format. It should have;

%PDF-1.0
%[CPOW]

before the %cpEmailBegin line and %[EndCPOW] after the %cpEmailEnd line. It should look like this;

%PDF-1.0
%[CPOW]
%cpEmailBegin
%cpEmail:[email protected]
%cpEmail:[email protected]
%cpEmail:-SFeed R04110Z
%cpEmail:-THISFD_R04110Z.PDF
%cpEmailEnd
%[EndCPOW]

The %PDF-1.4 line is where the JDE PDF data starts.

Where are you seeing the "SendMail Error - The specified file or directory does not exist" error? Is that in the .log file from CemailServer?

Not sure what "We have added the CF server to email exchange server" means. If you remove that does CemailServer function correctly?

Karen.

Yes, I am seeing it in Email server log file. "We have added the CF server to email exchange server" : We have added the Create form installed server IP to exchange server receiver list.

Yes, we have below setup for other .jtt , however we are getting same error for this report as well.

Thanks,

So you have other jobs configured to email and they process correctly? If yes, that is odd.

Can you add the server name to exchange server receiver list instead of the server IP? Does that make a difference?

In Windows Services are CfService and CfMessage running as Local System or do you have then running as something else?

Another option is to try putting a Windows Identity in CemailServer to connect properly to the Exchange server.
