Hi there,

I am a developer at Royal Vopak with appr 3 months experience now, and a have a
problem with a parent/child from.

Characteristics of the parent/child form :
- mainfile A is processed, and if the application detects any detail lines, and
on the form it is checked that detail lines ('children') must be displayed, then
the APPL inserts detail records from file B into the grid (by means of self
written event rules). The form does not use an automatic relationship by means
of a special BSVW.

Problem :
If no detail lines have to be displayed, the form shows the first set of header
records (file A) (20 records), and - after scrolling - the next set of 20
records is retrieved and displayed, and so on.
However, if it is checked on the form that detail lines have to be displayed,
the first set of header records (and details) is displayed (20 records), 1 time
scrolling is possible (24 records), but after that, no further scrolling is
possible to retrieve the remaining header- and detail records. The form acts as
if EOF was reached. Occasionaly, the 'message' 'Change sort option' appears on
the status bar of the form

Can you indicate what the possible cause of this phenomenon is, and how to
resolve it ?

Note : Probably, the number of records does not state anything...

Waiting for your reply !
