Screen Design Aid

I am trying to create a Video by taking Option 10 from SVR. When I take
this Option, the screen only blinks, it does not take me to JDE SDA. Can
anyone tell me if I do not have something installed or why this might be
happening? I can access AS/400 SDA, but was under the impression I needed
to create my Video using JDE SDA, in order to use C.A.S.E to generate code.

TIA

You need to use PDM to edit your source member. Visually look at your code
and see that
all of the code is in the proper places, particularly where you might have a
skip or space
keyword, these could be a space or two off. The other thing to look at is
if the video has
any funny numbering lines. I have found where these have caused me problems
in some videos
and printer files. These occur because someone has used SDA, RLU or just
SEU to edit these.

I hope this helps, if not then I would say if you could get me a copy of the
source via email
I would look at it and see if I could tell what the problem might be.

I do not have DSPF source yet, I am wanting to use Option 10 from the SVR
screen to create my DSPF.

The Source File must exist in the source library you have listed.
You could try changing your job to -- LOG(4 00 *SECLVL) LOGCLPGM(*YES) and
try to do the
10 and then display your job log to see if there are any additional messages
about what is
wrong.
