Hi List.

I having problems running RUNUBE from NT4 Entrprise server. I get error which says:

runube: JDB_InitEnvOvr failed with rcode = 0

Anyone help? Standard JDE UBEs don't work either. Also our debug log show IPC not found, even though it is specified in jde.ini. Right now IPC is 8600. Thank you List.

We on B7332, SP11, NT4

What is the exact command you are issuing? I found problems unless I was
in the oneworld\ddp\b7332\system\bin32 folder before I executed the
command.

Earlier I mentioned this:

"You must execute RUNUBE while logged into the
Enterprise Server as the same user that is running the
OW services."

I forgot to mention that if you are using Terminal
Services to remote admin the machine, you cannot do
RUNUBE from a Terminal Services session. In order to
execute RUNUBE you must be logged onto the console of
the Enterprise Server as the NT user you are running
the OneWorld Services under.

RUNUBE LOGIN PASSWORD ENVIR R00460 XJDE0001 QUEUE B H D

We noticing IPC not found in debug. Also cannot validate security for
login. Any help would be great. Thanks.

What syntax are you using. It has been quite some time since I ran a runube
command on an NT Enterprise/Application Server but I do believe there are
syntax (upper / lower case) issues. Try several combinations.

Hope this helps.

1. Make sure you are using a user ID that has system administration privledges.

2.You need to type out 'Batch' or 'Interactive', 'Print' or 'Hold', and 'Save' or 'Delete' (case sensitive). You cannot use 'B' 'P' 'S'.

3. The Password for the user ID should be upper case.

4. RUNUBE can only run from the enterprise server.

Please let me know if this fixes your problem.

I am not trying to "slit hairs" here but you can also run RUNUBE from an
Application Server (in addition to the Enterprise Server).

I am running RUNUBE from MS-DOS on Enterprise Server. I am logged into NT
using same user as OneWorld services.

There is also problem with IPCs. Debug says IPC cannot be found. In
jde.ini, IPC=8100. Also porttest.exe fails with same IPC error. Thanks
for your help.
