After all the tips in this forum, here is a trap that a lot of you may have encountered:
Running Interactive applications from IV (Interactive Versions Fastpath) or straight from the fastpath by entering the application name, can and will give unexpected results!!
Essentially the application that is being run will be version ZJDE0001, even when a different version is selected in IV.
A number of SAR's have been raised on this issue (eg 5278301 and 5234957), but until now the functionality has not been changed.
