Which JDE did you disable, the OW JDE or the database JDE?
Did you remap your ow-logins to your new system user?
I do this in all my installs. I do not use JDE as system user nor do I use
it in the server's ini file. But I never disable this user. I only change
it's password. Also, when I create ow security, my JDE user is not in the
CNCADMIN group. S/He does not need to be a privileged user.

We are trying to disable the jde userid so that no owe
will use jde account.
For that
1. We created a new account as same previlages as of
jde in oneworld.
2. We created a new account in data base side(Oracle).
3. We changed the jde.ini on the enterprise server to
use the new accounts.
4. we disabled the jde userId.
With this Change everything works fine other than the
Deployment of Packages. we cannot deploy any packages
to the enterprise server after the change.
We did full package builds with success. but cannot
deploy any packages to the server.
If we enable the jde userid and roll backa the jde.ini
everything is going well. but my cleint does not want
to keep the jde user enabled.
So Can you help me for this..
Goal is disabling the jde userid.
ES: Unix HP9000, ONEWORLD XE, SP20-D1, ORACLE.
