E9.0 Removing forecast at RM level

Looking for some guidance on raw material (stocking type G) parameter configuration. I have a case where forecast is loaded against the parent FG and the whole BOM is inheriting dependent demand signals, but some materials we only want to purchase to scheduled work orders and exclude forecast (Custom/made to order components). I have not been able to find a way to break the link on the RM SKU to stop inheriting the forecast form the parent. Has anyone else found a way to enable this kind of configuration?
