Hello,
Check the PTF's required on the AS400. We had a similar situation when we
were working in Denver. The central objects are now on the AS400 and there
are a couple of PTF's required. Initially the delays were most evident in
OMW with the check in and check out taking ages. This was then fixed but
then the overall OW performance was impaired and we had to switch data
compression off within the ODBC settings. Yyour setup maybe different but I
would investigate the AS400 setup first, check with WWAT team in Denver.

We are currently in the process of upgrading O/W from 7.3.3.2 to Xe.
Enterprise server AS/400
Deployment server NT
Workstations 500mgz and above, all fat client
Service pack 13
When we access the enterprise server everything seems to take an extremely
long time the respond. Screen changes take long, UBE's run a lot longer.
We are currently working with Denver with a JDE tech. on sight and havn't
had a result in over 48 hours. Has any one converted to Xe with the
platform make up as above and if so have you experienced anything like the
results we have experienced.
