World has this functionality. Load your sales orders into the Batch
Receiver files - F4001Z Order Headers and F4011Z Order Detail Lines. Then
you can run the program P40211Z (Option 24, G4212), which will do all the
data validation, create real sales orders in JDE, and produce reports
identifying successful conversions and errors due to invalid data or other
setup problems.

Another option might be a different front-end. We use a native AS/400
hard goods Point-of-Sale system which integrates into JDE World, and
provides complete G/L, Inventory, A/R etc. feeds into JDE. Works
