Re: Upgrade from SP 7.1 to SP 11.3

Hi Greg.

We suffered a major loss when we loaded SP11.3 on B7332.
Any objects that were checked out were lost.
JDE said this would not happen with a service pack upgrade.
They were wrong.
Be safe, rather than sorry. Check all objects IN before the upgrade.

Good luck.

We are upgrading from our current service pack 7.1 to 11.3 on Tuesday. Can
anyone tell me their stories of upgrading? Good or Bad please.
Happy New Year,

Greg

Re: Upgrade from SP 7.1 to SP 11.3

Greg,

the move from Sp7.1 to 11.3 was fairly smooth for us. The only gotcha appears in business function(s) used by R98403 and the Object Librarian for creating indices. It now (sometimes) reports errors where there art none. Also primary indexes are created in the wrong tablespace (Oracle).

Other than that we are very happy with 11.3.
