Re: Trying to install OWDemo...

Let me guess. Your running windows 98 and your not using Xe. If I'm right,
demo jr. wasn't meant to run on win98. It can if you make changes to your
jde.ini file. If the changes needed don't show up in any responses to your
question, e-mail me directly and I'll look them up for you.

Dear Steave....
Actually I'm trying to install it under Windows 2000 Server. I had try
almost everything (change the .ini file, install SQL 7, install Access 2000,
Install MDAC, take the pc off the net), but everything fails...
I'll apreciate any pointer for this.

Thank's

RE: Trying to install OWDemo...

I don't know about win2000 server. Are you trying to run this as a network
program? Wont work, must be installed on each pc. Also, I think you need
the MDOC driver, available on the microsoft website. Finally, the changes
you need to make to the jde.ini file ARE case sensitive. Capitals must be
capitals (the jde.ini changes sent to jdelist in the last 24 hours look
right).
