Re: Routing Options for Abbrevated Postal Codes?
Krishna,
You may already know this (and I don't believe that this has been changed
in ERP8.0), the use of abbreviated Post Codes is controlled in the
Transportation Constants for your Depot (Minimum Postal Code Size), this
would be your first point of call.
Failing this, the only way I have found to get to the depths of what is
going on during the Routing selection process is to turn on your debug log
and review your F4950 select statements. This will at least identify
whether the software is attempting to find your abbrev. postal code routes.

Hello List,
I have got an issue with transportation Routing in B7334(ERP8)
shipments are not finding routing options for any carriers with
Freighthandling code "PP"-prepaid-payable charges.
We were cool with JDEB7332 every thing workd fine with routing ,but run
into issues in ERP8.
If i use 5 digit zipcode the route is shows up in routing options, but 3
digit abbrevated zip code the route doesn't show up.
Any body in XE or ERP8 using Abbbrevated zipcodes in routing entries and
system finding routing options.
Any ideas wii be appreciated.
