Hi jdelist!
=20
Actually I'm looking for a tool that let me make reports with image or
graphics in the background of data (like create forms). In the other =
hand,
in the past I has used Crystal Reports to design reports, but someone =
has
used this tool and put it into JDE One World 7.3.3.2?
=20
I'll really appreciate your help.

Re: Reports with Crystal Reports

Rafael,

yes you CAN use Crystal Reports against OneWorld databases.

You can go against the database directly (in which case you need to deal with security and cryptic table and column names) or you can use the OneWorld ODA ODBC driver. Both approaches have their pluses and minuses.

We use Seagate Crystal Reports and have found it very easy to use. It can do all sorts of things. If you want a chart, watermark, or just about anything, it can do. However, you must have the ODA driver installed to communticate, if you want to use field names that make sense. We are on OneWorld 7.331 Sp7 with ODA version 1.20. We are having some problems with scheduling JDEdwards through Seagate Info but if you have something later than 7331 then you might have and updated ODA. Seagate recommends ODA 1.47.

I'm running OneWorld B733.2 SP10, Crystal Reports 8.1.0, ODA 1.47 and can't
get it to work.

James.

Thanks a lot!
