Two options:
Open December after hours and post it. Create a reversing entry in December
to zero the effect of the post and recreate the entry with a Feb date.
Or
Inquire on the entry in the JE screen, page to the bottom, do an add, blank
out the document number and date, hit enter to create a new document with a
Feb date. Delete the Dec entry and post the Feb entry.

I would suggest the following:
1. post the batch in December
2. record a Journal entry to reverse it's effects in December
3. and then reverse the journal entry in February,
thereby recording the original entry in February

RE: Posting a manufacturing batch

Jude,

Use WorldWriter in update mode over F0911 to change both the GL date and the
GL period (possibly also GL fiscal year). Make sure your selection criteria
is "watertight" by running the WorldWriter before adding the update
capability. You can use other tools like simple RPG update program, SQL
etc.

Be aware that you may cause some audit trail problems when trying to
backtrack from GL to the original transactions in Manufacturing. However if
you are aware of this then having a one batch problem should be easily
worked around

The fields in F0911 to change are:

GLDGJ - GL Date
GLPN - GL Period
GLFY - GL Fiscal Year

Note that the Post Program uses the GL period number already on the record
(calculated during creation of the unposted F0911 record) so it is essential
that you change this along with the date.
