DON'T DO IT!

Seriously, I had to get the R42565 to print onto preprinted paper with a
line printer and it was a nightmare. OW only supports courier new fond size
10 and what you see in report design is not what you'll get out. Buying a
new laser printer will save a lot of money, compared to the hours you have
to put in. (Especially since you want to use a non-latin character set). You
can check the KG there must be a white paper somewhere on line printing.

Katrin

Re: OneWorld Line Printing

I completly agree with that, I worked for a company trying to print
pick slips and contents notes onto continuous preprinted stationary and
this too was a nightmare. We ended up buying continuous feeding laser
printers.

RE: OneWorld Line Printing

We have a solution that uses a UNIX daemon to do a re-format of the _PDF
file and it works great. Has anyone found a good multipart laser solution?
We have to have multi-part forms so laser just wasn't going to work for us
at the time.

RE: OneWorld Line Printing

We use Create!Print to do a multi-part forms overlay to PDF files for
printing A/P checks.

Re: OneWorld Line Printing

Hello,
Could anyone of you guys let me know, how the Printer was configured on the AS/400 and OneWorld.

Thanks so much.

Re[2]: OneWorld Line Printing

On the as400 to print through JDE OW Xe you need an remote outq. It could be
setup using the a98owmnu which is created when you install JDE. Then you have
to setup the printer in OW with P98616. Just follow the steps. Default lib
for
printer is QGPL.
