A couple of thoughts. . . . . . .
1. Can you restore backups and look at the mailbox entries that way ?

2. If you use G.E.I.S. as your van, then you can get a report (off the
website) of your inbound and Outbound
transactions.

You can change the Purge/Archive options within the Peregrine EDI System
Control Menu to archive the purged data and specify a library to use for the
purged data. The System Control menu is found within the Administration
menu. Once you have the purged data being archived, you can get to it if a
trading partner disputes the receipt of an invoice.
