Re: Demo XE

Hi Kannen,

Now you confused us(me) enough. Your new posts started a new thread on the Forum (you can see it if you visit it).
Now we(I) do not know what option have you tried when you were getting an error Jane's or mine suggestion? Further what kind of error were you getting?

And let me an other question: why do you want Check-Out objects on a standalone Demo installation?

Re: Demo XE

Zoltan,
I am sorry for confusion.
As you said If I go to the Design without checking out the object it is
working perfect with only warning.

If I tried to check out the object then I am getting the error as follows

"Transfer Activity Rules do not exist. Contact Admin for setting the
Transfer Activity rules for this object"

I am checking out the object because IN ALL OTHER DEMO JUNIOR I USED TO
ENTER DUMMY LINE WITH THE STATUS 3 IN THE OBJECT LABRARIAN AND THEN I USED
TO GO TO THE DESIGN. I tried to go in the same way in xe too..but in xe
there is no option for dummy checkout.

Thanks

Re: Demo XE

Kannen,
Thanks for your clarification.
As you could try, you do not need a (fake) check-out on XE (demo) to go to the Designers (not like in previous rerelases).

If you would like to try with check-outs/gets yet on XE demo then try to replace "DV7333" to your demo pathcode ID in the From Location fields of Check-Out/Get rows for 21-21 Status Code combination in the Activity Rules under the Object Management Configuration (OMC) application.

Unfortunately I can not try it because I can not access any XE Demo install currently.

Regards,
Zoltán
P.S.: If you tried the OMC changes then please let us know your results.
