Ian,

You can find instructions for Eric's method in Section 14 of the General Accounting Guide. One caveat: Do not put anything in the first column of the header line of the spreadsheet so that it will sort to the top and be the record that gets deleted instead of the first data record. See page 14-44 of the General Accounting Guide. Do not put the words 'Account Number' in cell A1.

Ian,

I've done many uploads for job budgets in (OW and World)as well as regular budgets using the F0902z1 file. It doesn't require that you be in balance like a JE and is fairly easy to work with. If you go to menu G1421 and find interactive app P0902z1, you can enter budgets here manually and then view the F0902z1 to see what fields are required. I then use Access to populate the fields... After the file is populated, run the R14110 to populate the F0902 file for the budgets.

Re: Budget Uploads

Do Cost Codes need to be existing in Account Master
(F0901) FOR THIS ??

Re: Budget Uploads

I would say, "yes," you need the Account Master in order to add an Account
Balance record. The Account Balance table is keyed on the Account ID, so if
you didn't have an account number from the account master, you wouldn't have
a key field.

Job Budget Spread

Hi List,

I'm trying to find a way to spread jobs budget (Job Costing) which is of ledger type "JA" or to be able to enter it on a monthly basis.

I know we are using the same table (F0902) to store the original budget for both job budget and regular budget. However the 14 periods fields are used for the revised budget amount in case of job budget.
My company wants to enter capital budget per period & Fiscal year instead of having it yearly.

I'm replying to you because I noticed that you have a good experience in budgeting on JDE OneWorld.

Any Assistance from anyone would really be appreciated.

Rana
