Yes, this is an anwser for Websphere 4.0.5
- logon to 'Websphere Advanced Admin Console'
- expand 'Nodes'
- expand 'Application Servers'
- click on your Application Server
- click on Tab 'General', in the field 'Node Startup State' key in=20
'Running'.
- click Apply/OK ........

To all,
Does anyone know a way to have an Application Server in Websphere restart=20
automatically after the subsystem restarted?? We are running JAS on our=20
AS/400, and we have a need to bring down the subsytem and restart it,=20
however, the application server does not restart automatically.
