List,

I'm not sure if this is a tip/trap or not BUT,

w/in RDA if you add a variable using the
ALPHA VARIABLE or NUMERIC VARIABLE, the name
that you key in VARIABLE NAME actually shows
up under the Section/Properties/Fields form.

If you add a variable from the data dictionary
browser, eg: MATH01, the Section/Properties/Fields
form shows MathNumeric01/MathNumeric01/MATH01.

(Or so it seems at the client at which I am
now doing development.....)

Oh, but it is a rat! It is a rat! shouts Hamlet rising his sword ...
It's just another bug on the wall, or a trap; and I would be sooooo happy to see the Name I baptized it with.

PS Should we expand Zoltan's list of JDEdwardian dreams? Or should we not?

Hi Gene

As requested, I have moved your mail to the Tips & Traps section (only because my JDE boss in Melbourne that hired me originally was also called Piekarski ;-)

Also thanks to Adrian for his rendition of Hamlet (after all you do list "Shakespeare" as one of your hobbies)

Rgds
