R31802 work order do not go to status 96

Hi List,

Since I am in XE (a year ago), I have some work orders that stay at status
95. I have in employee work center message like below but it does not help
me at all. When I run the R31802 for completion, 99% of the work order move
up to status 96 and after that I run the variance. I do not have doc type
IS in my AAI's. I am using superbackflush to complete into inventory and
partial completion of work order for WIP (work in process). We use in the
bill of material the scrap SCRP but not the operation scrap STPP.

What can I check?

EMPLOYEE WORK CENTER MESSAGE

CAUSE : The Automatic Accounting Instruction (AAI) number 3130 used by this
application is not defined in the Distribution/Manufacturing AAI
table.
RESOLUTION : Review the AAI that is not set up correctly using the
Distribution/Manufacturing AAI maintenance application and set
up or modify the required data.

Check the information for Company 02000 , Order Type IS and
GL CLass code SFIN .

Robert,
The system wants to record your BOM Scrap. Put an IS line in the AAI as specified in the RESOLUTION portion of your employee work center message.

Robert, You are recieving this error because scrap is being reported at the time of Work Order Completion. You can check this by finding one of your work orders that is at status 95, but should have moved through to status 96. Look in the qauntity scrapped (SOCN) of the header. This is where the IS transaction in question is originating from. The "IS" is a credit to WIP for AAI 3120, and a Debit for AAI 3130 (simialar to the IC transaction). Since the work center error message is for AAI 3130, I would assume that 3120 is already set up.

Salut Robert

Happy New year.

Brad Darr answer is correct. (He's the guy that did the REX implementation)

Robert,
There is also a SAR you may like to check. SAR 5946989.
Effectively the system is trying to generate spurious GL journal entry line(s) for scrap, and is further stating that the GL batch is out of balance.
This may help your problem if the other responses haven't.

Regards,

Adrian
