Dear List,

I wanted to get an idea how feasible it is pratically to deploy packages in R22 (9.2.7.x) with the zero deployment. I understand the underlying architecture behind R22 - zero downtime deployment BUT on a more pratical scenario can we just deploy the package without restarting any servers soecially if we have table generations, CFR Auditing. Has anyone who is already doing production deployments have faced any issues after deployments where you did not reboot the servers? Do you still had to go ahead and reboot the HTML/JAS servers atleast to force the users out?

I am trying to understand how partical this zero downtime deployment is in complex production architectures. And does it really work without impacting any users or jobs.

Any inputs will be very helpful and highly appreciated!

Thanks.
