Putting Database on the SAN

Hi All,

I'm getting ready to upgrade my production from Xe to e810 and running out of space. So I decided to put the database on a SAN.

Is anybody out there running thier database on the SAN ? If yes, I need to talk to you ASAP.

We are still on development stage but our databases all reside in a SAN. Let me know your questions and I will try to see if I can find answers for you.

What do you need to know?

The technology works. It's fast and package builds run lickety-sizzle. Database IOs are quick. If you need instructions on how to configure a drive, you should check with your instruction book or your network administrator.
