Promoting Customized Grids

Is there a way to promote a customized grid for a version from one environment to another. For example if a version is created in DV with a customized grid and it is promoted to PY we currently lose the customized grid.

It is possible to add user overrides to a project and promote it along with the object itself. Searching in OMW might not be the easiest way, so I would search in P98950 first, hone in on the grid format you want, and that should help you find it within OMW's search.

P.S. You could also copy the record between the F98950 tables in the Central Objects libraries with SQL, but the auditors won't like it.

You will need to make the changes public (or to teh user whom you want the changes for) for the grid you created via User overrides (P98950 - If i aint wrong) and then promote these changes via OMW
