Promoting BI Publisher objects - gotcha\'s
1. When BI Publisher (XP...) templates are promoted, the start effective date is not carried forward. So go into the application P95600 on the web client in the environment promoting to, and manually set the start effective date (there's a form/row exit called Effective Dates).
2. Oracle stores the parameter-type definition data in the F95625 and F95626 tables, within the Control Tables; however, Oracle does NOT copy these records when promoting a report definition from one environment to another. So one way or another, you have to copy the Control Table records [I just SQL'd them myself]. If you don't do this, while your reports may generate, any text-substitution in the subject/body, or any data-driven e-mail addresses will be missing.
