E9.1 Prevent Phantom Item From Being on Work Order

Hopefully, this is a simple question. Is there a way to prevent a phantom item from being manufactured on a work order? We are trying out the phantom item process to help us with one issue, but I wanted to see options to ensure we don't try to pull a work order until the item is set up with an M stocking type. Any suggestions?

Hello, JDE system still allows to create Work Ordre for Phantom Item however it will displays a warning at the time of creation that there is no routing entries, that may give an indication that this is item is not a manufactured one and planner must stop this activity however there is no Hard stop as such, as planner can still add the routing manually in the work Order.

Here is another option that may help if you are not creating the WO manually. Extra stocking type say Q (2nd column is still M to function as manufacturing item), and all P3411/R3411 can filter out this Q
