Postal Code Maintenance

World software offers program P0117 to maintain file F0117 with valid Postal Codes. This file is used to validate Postal Codes as they are entered in Address Book entries.

I'm looking for ideas of how folks maintain this file and keep the postal codes up to date. I am aware that the United States Postal Service (USPS) offers a subscription service, but it appears as though there would be significant programming effort to put the USPS data into the format of the F0117. We are also interested in the Postal Codes of other countries such as Canada, Mexico, Germany, UK, etc. if anyone has contacts on where to obtain this information.

Regards,

Neal

Yes we are using Vertex and I thought that there might be a connection but haven't been able to find it.

Can you help to uncover that mystery?

There is no files or programs shared by vertex tax
programs with that file.

Vertex goes with separate series of program and files
identified by 73 system.

The address book programs P01053 only retrieves tax
code using a server...X73....

If there is anything missing , please let me know...

Good luck
