PDBA calculation to determine \"lesser\" amount between 2 DBAs
I am in need of some assistance in setting up a payroll PDBA that does the following:
1) Calculate 3% of Gross Pay (DBA would have series of pay types in the basis of calculation)
2) Calculate 50% of a specific deduction (DBA would have just the one DBA in the basis of calc)
3) Determine the lesser amount between the 2 (perhaps on a third DBA) and return that amount through the Journal Entries for the accrual from payroll.
Has anyone had success setting something similar up? If not, am I looking at modifying the B070005 somehow? I'd appreciate any feedback since the Company wants to begin accruing the amounts systematically next month!
