I've built a full client package; how could I make it available through the
Client installation setup program for install it on new machines???

Hi,

You have to go into package deployment, highlight the package and click active.
You can then install it onto clients from the oneworld client install directory.

You might need to deploy a server package as well depending on what you are doing.

If you press Alt-S on your keyboard, it will display all packages, whether they are
approved or not.

This is a common bug in the software program. In order for us to see the
package, when we run the full package manually through the client install
program, I have to go to the PACKAGE_INF directory and find my package name
PRODB733FB and edit the file, search for deployment status and change from
"not defined" to Approved, and this needs to be just like that Approved.
Save the file and now you should see that package in the OW client install,
if you were to do a manual install.

Another trick (just saves a few footsteps) is to use ALT+S at the available
packages list during the install. It will list ALL packages (still uses the
filters though) whether they are Approved or not. I only use it when I'm
doing a manual install of a package I either forgot to Approve or that I
didn't want to approve (ie. a test package). Just don't forget to go back
and Approve the package if you need to.
