P4242 and Work Orders

Currently P4242 only allows one line type in its processing options. We
have it set as 'S'. The problem we are having is that we need to also have
'W' so that work orders will generate. I have checked the Knowledge Garden
and it looks like there are many customers requesting this functionality.
JDE has not come up with any paper fixes yet. Does anybody out there have a
work around suggestion?

Maintain the line type in Item Branch Plant (F4102) Information and keep the
Processing option blank. The program will take the line type value from
F4102,, if item has line type "W" (Work order to be generated ) will be
taken are of automatically.
