E9.2 P42040 Speed Status Update Processing Option

Hi,

I'm adding a new sales order status. I don't have my order activity rules set up yet. But I'm working on versions that will be needed for the task views first. I'm getting an error when I try to add the new sales order status in P42040 speed status update. It exists in UDC 40|AT. There is no message associated with this error and I'm having trouble finding any documentation on this thru Oracle. Is there a specific step by step process that should be taken when setting up a new sales order status?

The most common issue: cache. It probably needs to be cleared. Have CNC do it if you don’t have authority.

Thanks Alex. That did the trick. (darn cache) I'm still on the search for a document that outlines all the steps for adding a new status. I'm going to work on the order activity rules next.
