take your oracle people behind the woodshed and paddle them
This is obviously an oracle issue. The problem is the Tablespace / Datafiles setup. JDE does provide the default tablespace creation script to be edited by the DBA. Any DBA should have enough smarts though to recognize that data grows and tablespaces need to expand. Which is the case here. The settings on the tablespace data files should have AUTOEXTEND ON, MAXSIZE <large number>, and MAXEXTENTS UNLIMITED. Since you're on 8.1.6.3 they should also think about making the Extent Management Local instead of Dictionary based.
An alternative is to simply add another datafile to the Tablespace(s).
But really, your Oracle guys should know this stuff.
