OW user login restrictions

JDE List,

I remember some time back a discussion around a utility that one can install
in their OW environment (on the Deployment Server I believe) that can
restrict the number of times a particular userid can log in to OW.

We are having problems with users logging in too many times and we are
looking for ways to "lock" this down. This is especially problematic on our
TSE boxes.

Thanks in advance for all help!!!!

There is not a way to do this through OneWorld. There has been a SAR request for this SAR # 5612250.

I'm not a MS Windows security expert but I think there may be a way to do this using security within NT/2000 or Citrix.

Through Windows Security, you would be able to restrict the users from logging into the NT side of the world based on concurrent sessions. This would work well in a terminal server environment or an environment that is using unified logins.

However, this will not solve the larger problem, only limit it.
