Order Preparation Days

I want to add a minus value so i can add days to schedule pick days, we have changed the data dictionary on the order prep days entry, so we can now add a minus value, but now the dates stay the same. This makes me believe it can not handle a minus value as the data dictionary is setup only to accept a positive value to start with.

How do i get around this?

1.) On which form in which application have you done it (Pxxxyyy,Wxxxyyyz)?
2.) Did you changed the attributes of a Data Item in Data Dictionary?
3.) Have you override the attributes of a Data Item on the Form?
4.) Have you changed/replaced the Data Item on the Form?
5.) Which Control(s) and Data Item(s) were affected?
6.) What have you done exactly?
