Order Activity Rules

Dear List,

Does anyone know when the following activity rules is initiated?
. Code .Description
1/ 982 - Cancelled in commitments
2/ 988 - Cancelled in updates

982 means it was cancelled by the hard commit program. This happens when
you run pick slips, for example, and you have the hard commit option turned
on. If the total quantity is not available to be shipped, then part of the
order line is cancelled.

988 I'm not sure about.
