I'm looking for feedback on configurations of Oracle OnLine Redo logs in use
by you seasoned OneWorld users. Our logs are currently sized at 5Mb and we
have 4 groups. Switching however is occuring more frequently than is
"healthy" for the database, especially where our nightly batch jobs run so
I'm planning to resize the log files. It's probably a bit of a horses for
courses type query but I'm looking for some ideas as to sizes and number of
groups of online redo logs that folks have found work for them.
OneWorld Xe B7333 SP15.2 - Oracle 8.1.7 - W2K
