Dear List,
We are using mainly fat clients. We have some users who would just launch OW
and sign in and perhaps stay at inquiry screen and windows MINIMIZED for
the rest of the day. Reason - for convenience sake or when customer calls -
screen is readily available.
Are there any 'broadcast' or traffic between the OW kernels and these idle
sessions ? We are using Oracle DB but sign-on using a 'Single' common DB
userid - would there be extra processes / sessions be taken up by these as
well ? Our network is TCP/IP.
My concern is unnecessary network traffic generated, if there is any.
