OneWorld Environment Colour

Email [email protected] for a freeware copy of this program.

It allows custom colours for OneWorld program and it also displays the Environment in the Titlebar. This is a useful tool for developers. Future version will be available, just email me requesting the update/change.

Ok I have received a email with :

"...your program that allows Colour by Environment.."

So I will be releasing the new version via email to all those who have requested the program, no need to request the new version.
EXCEPT a Mr Brown, whom I lost the email, sorry.

There is a JDEListers good habit to upload useful files on the Downloads section; you may want to consider it.

Sure, go to http://www.jdelist.com/ then click on "Downloads" then follow the top left corner "Got a useful Resource? Upload it!",
and click the ... "Click" icon.

Urm, What you just described wasn't on the site, but now the site has changed. I struggled to find this forum again and its a yuky greenish colour. I didn't have the downloads section visible before.
How long have you had this visible?

Let's say since it was createad :)

Did you try the direct approach: click the Jdelist.com link who is positioned underneath our thread/replies. It is supposed to take you to the main JdeList screen (where Downloads button is present); otherwise, let Support(Eric) know about ANY problem the site raises. He'll be happy to log it, consider it and present an efficient solution.

Hi ProjectRoom,
Excellent tool.
Could I suggest a future development...
Would it be possible to have the colour changes in OMW as well? (Extra brownie points if you can have the path code appear in the title bar of every screen)

Thanks again,

Stewart

Gabriel,
Would you please translate your post to English (or at least to Hungarian :))) ?
Thanks in advance,
Zoltán
P.S.: Adrian (Chimirel), would you be our translatorif this post will remain untranslated for a while? Thanks in advance.

Hi PR,
Servus Zoltán!

Hoping my mother-tongue (Romanian) didn't confuse you that much, allow me to translate Gabi's message:
"Good Day Sir,
I'm writing because you're the first JDELister we discover outside Romania.
If it pleases You, contact us.
Have a nice day,
JDE Romania (or at least, part of it)."

You may share my happiness to learn (after almost three years of being a JDELister) that Romania has joined the JDEdwards Club.

Thank you for you patience,
Adrian & other Romanian JDEListers
PS We'll definitely take this personal discussion out of the public eye.

If Zoltan wants it, he will have it! Special dedication for Zoltan - we were
hoping you would learn some Romanian - myself or Adrian(Chimirel) could help
you on that - but in the meantime please find the Hungarian translation of
the post.

Oooops, looks like Eric stipped my translation.

Off topic I know ....but I'm curious to know if there are many JDE sites in
Romania?

I've been there a couple of times and love the place.

Re: RE: OneWorld Environment Colour

Hi Adrian (the other one :)))

First, List/Forum excuse me this off topic reply but I feel so I have to reply because I was addressed by Adrian.

Adrian,
Thank you for your really excellent Hungarian translation. I understood it much better then the English translation of the "either" Adrian ;-) (please, don't be angry about it)
The only problem was that the accent marks were missing on many of the letters. OK, I know, you haven't a Hungarian keyboard.

I would be very glad if I could be as well in English or Romanien languages as you in Hungarian.

Read You Later,
... but in a professional post ;-)

Regards,
Zoltán
P.S.: Adrian és Fórum/Lista! Remélem megbocsátjátok nekem, hogy angolul válaszoltam magyar helyett. (Translation: Adrian and Forum/List, I hope you will forgive me that I replied in English language instead of in Hungarian.)

Bravo Alistair!
It's a very nice tool!

Stewart was referring to the Xe ... new Object Management Workbench. It is a new Project/Development/Change Control tool, well, just another window as you said.

I would like to have the posibility to start OW with the JDE Solution Explorer (your application runs the JDE OW Explorer instead). But I guess others were asking for the ... moon, too, so I'll (hardly) wait for the new version 1.5

Thank YOU,

heh, thanks.
If you can give me the details of this other window,

Where I can get a copy (I have test Xe now).

or

1. Its location in the oneworld folder and its filename(.exe)
2. The Window Title/Caption.
3. Screenshot (.jpg or zipped), sent to my email? [email protected]
4. The classname of the window (For those that don't know, forget this ;))
5. Any other infomation you can think of.

Then I will create version 6 and it will have the ability to launch either of the explorers (solution or normal).

Cheers

PR,
1 - If you already have the Xe Standalone, you may click on the yellow light-bulb (which calls for the activeConsole.exe; it resides where owexplore.exe does, too). I would really appreciate replacing the hardcoded_called_executable with a dynamic setup, therefore the user is allowed to call ANY of these two (or more) Xe main screens.
2 - The OMW is called by typing omw in the fast path.
3 - I forgot to add on my last wish list, the improvement of Left or Right click events calling for the On/Off switch or the Color settings; could you add / enable the Click_On_Label(s) for the same purpose. Why? Well, Right & Left Clicking, for a Left_Hand_Mouse_User as myself, is ... you know, really vice-versa :)
4 - Is it possible to have the colour selected through a standard Windows Colour Selector (256 Colors would suffice)?
Attached are some screenshots.

Thanks,
Adrian
