E9.1 OMW Project Name change

Hi All,

Is it possible to change the name of an OMW project once it is created?
If not by me, is it possible for the CNC to do it?
Actually, I have created an OMW project and don't know how but there is a space in the beginning of the project name. I want to remove that space.
Please suggest.

Either quick & dirty via SQL or just create new, copy objects and delete the old one...

That project ID is in several tables, so SQL may be not so quick and dirty. Creating a new project, moving your objects into it and then cancelling the old one is an easier and safer option.

I’ve done it with SQL before, some forms trim the value and others don’t so the leading space is a pain.

The space is because when you create the project in P98220W it defaults a blank in so you have to make sure you remove it before putting in your project name.

As others say, best way is to create a new project and move the objects.
