ODA in Crystal Reports

Has anyone used JDEdwarda ODA driver to write Seagate Crystal Reports. We are having problems and I was wondering what problems others have had. We have discovered that once a report is written using ODA, that particular environment is the only one you can pull data from. Ex. If you create a report in CRP then that report has to be recreated in PROD. Has anyone had this problem before or similar experiences with ODA. We are on B7331,SP 11.3, NT SQL 7.
Thanks,
Greg

Greg,

we don't use ODA but the below will probably help you.

1. Call up a report in the Crystal Reports Designer.
2. From the Menu Bar select "Database", "Set Location"
3. Change the Table Locations to point to Production instead of CRP.

At some point in this process you'll be prompted to connect to the ODA data source, make sure that you login to the production environment.

Let us know if this works for you.

Cheers,

Hello list

Has anybody seen this happen?

I am trying to apply a credit memo to a deduction
using deduction activity form.

When I go to "Credit Memo selection" Form, the "Find"
button is greyed out therefore I can't use it to find
my Credit Memo. Has anybody seen it and solved that
error?
Am I doing something wrong? I do not think so because
I am using JDE's manual to test it over and over.

If you have seen it, please respond.

Thanks in advance

Ulrick,

suggest you repost your question under a new heading/subject/thread instead of one about Crystal Reports. Also please include information about your OW version, platform etc. Basic List etiquette stuff :)
