We are testing XE to upgrade from B7322. A user has reported the following
error when trying to access an AS/400 OneWorld table using the new JD
Edwards ODA driver:

First error:
Error in ODA
An 'Open DataAccess' internal error has been logged. Please notify JD
Edwards.
Error: 'hlnst.JDENET !=NULL
File: 'D:\B7\system\jdbdrv\oda\jdeowoda\jdapiutil.cpp'.
Line 102

SEcond Error

Error: 'hlnst.JDENET !=NULL

Error 3
ODBC -- Call failed.

The Clients are running V4R5 with sp SF65345. We also tested this on V4R4
clients and got the same error.

ANy ideas?

Toni,
Try checking your SP levels for your operating system first. Be
sure that MDAC is also up to the proper version - then see if you still
get these errors. Doing this has helped us in a couple of situations.

I've had this problem before. You will need to add the x:\b7\system\bin32 directory to your PATH variable.

Did you put the path to the ODA driver (eg c:\B7\SYSTEM\BIN32) in the user's
PATH variable?
