OCM mappings for \'J\' environments

Hi List,

Does anyone know the correct OCM mappings for a 'J' environment such as
JPD7333 ?

By default, on a brand new Xe installation (base Xe, no SP or ESU) there is
a default mapping for all BSFN to be run on the 'enterprise server - Logic'
Datasource and some specific BSFN mappings for individual business functions
in the 'System - B7333' Datasource but nothing in the 'enterprise server -
Server Map' Datasource.

In the HTML client, in say Address Book application, do a FIND and after
several minutes an error comes up 'timeout on connection to enterprise
server'. If I add a default OCM mapping to map all BSFN to be local this
issue goes away. (but is replaced by other problems that state that certain
business functions that are mapped to be run LOCAL are NOT valid to be run
locally !).

Does anyone else have any problems with HTML client ?

Re: OCM mappings for \'J\' environments

Andy,
where does your Base Datasource in your JAS.INI´s [DB SYSTEM SETTINGS] point to? If it points to the Server Map Data Source redirect it to the System - B7333 datasource. (Change the object owner as well.)
There should not be any need for a mapping of BSFN´s in the Server Map´s OCM table.
Thanks, Gerd
