We have qualified a new supplier and let us assume that we have decided to use a new part number to distinguish the item source. Is there a away to change the raw material item attributes to force a part number selection at the time of WO creation? In other words, it is possible to avoid changing 1000s of BOMs and drive this alternate change at the raw material level so every instance of WO creation forces a selection between two acceptable part numbers?
