New Install of One World License Error

I have a problem with a Install of OneWorld on a Win2000 workstation. I have completely installed One World using the latest Full Client Package and I have updated the ODBC so there like they should be. But when I log on at the initial JDE logon screen I get an error saying "License Violation You do not have authorization to access this workstation" I am an administrator of JDEdwards, also the particular Win2000 workstation I have local adminstrator rights. I know we have not hit our limit on licenses because I have checked License Usage Application for the total number of licenses and we are not close to the max. Help if you can.

We used to get this, then we started signing on to workstations as JDE to =
do the installs and have no problems since.

We also have run into this problem. The explanation I was given, is that at
times OneWorld does not remove client licenses properly. That is up for
debate. We reset the client security and the issue was resolved. In order
to do this, go to the system admin menu, choose security, and then choose
reset software protection codes. You should see two rather large buttons.
Select reset client security. On the exit bar you will press get auth.
This should fill in the authorization code for you. I guess that is about
it. I hope this helps.

There is a document on KG/Breaking News that deals with this. It is called Client Install Fails to Copy/Create Security Files. The doc ID is oti-01-0002.
