Multiple RDA users on a single Terminal Server

Hello,

I have a situation where I need multiple users to develop reports in RDA on a single Terminal Server. The problem, naturally, is that when they try to create new reports, open reports and save reports simultaniously they collide on the local RDA specs (TAM files).

I have been working with one JDE expert who described a way of copying the SPEC files for each RDA user, but then in package deployment this becomes a real nightmare to maintain, since every package deployment to the TS would require a copy operation of the updated spec files to multiple user directories. This is resource intensive and time consuming.

Is there any way to allow shared access to one set of local spec files (TAMs) so multiple users can read-write to them at a time, which would allow multiple RDA sessions and report spec read access to live in harmony??

If you need to put multiple developers on one terminal server, the best I
can advice is to log them to different environments (DV, PY, PD, JD). All
check-in / check-outs would go between their local specs and DV central
objects, so in fact it doesn't matter in which env the object was created
and developed. In that way they would work on different SPECs.

Regards
Leszek
