I have some items where MRP seems to be generating the proper amount of
supply based on the demand. However, some of the demand is missing from
P4021 Supply & Demand screen. More specifically all the planned orders
(type 'WP') are showing, but no firm demand orders (type 'WO')! Any
thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Have you verified that you have the WO type orders selected on the Supply
and Demand Inclusion Rules P34004 on menu G3442?

Yes, I have verified that our rules include type 'WO' orders. Any other
thoughts on why they wouldn't show up in Supply & Demand, but are considered
in MRP calculations?

Re: RE: MRP & Supply Demand

Vikas,

just to be sure ... Did you check the Supply and Demand Inclusion Rules (S&D) called out on the P4021 Processing Options? Check the processing option setting for the version of P4021 that you are running to make sure that its the correct rules.

Larry,

Good point, but I tried that as well and it looks fine. That is why I am
having such a hard time trying to determine what the source of the problem
is. Any other thoughts?

Check values in the branch/plant filed through a database query and see if
these are in lowercase. We encountered a problem after a SP install last
August that would allow a lowercase value in the branch/plant field. It
manifested itself by not allowing SO, PO transactions to show in
Supply/Demand. Maybe this is your issue.
